Additional Dentistry Services
Fillings and Extractions
Hanser Dental offers composite (tooth-colored) and silver fillings. Fillings are used when a tooth has decay or loss
of tooth structure. Fillings are a very common procedure, and Dr. Hanser will determine when one is needed.
Patients may need an extraction for many different reasons and the procedure can be done with local
anesthetic. Whatever the reason, Dr. Hanser can determine if extraction is the best remedy for the situation.
Implants
Dr. Hanser restores implants with a crown once the implant body has been placed by a specialist. Additionally,
Hanser Dental can provide a wide variety of other solutions to assist you in achieving the smile you desire.
Crowns and Bridges
Crowns can fix broken teeth or other severe dental problems. Crowns
also look and feel like natural teeth.
A bridge is a restoration that replaces missing teeth. It is bonded or cemented into place. Your appearance, dental
health and proper function are all important reasons for getting a fixed bridge.
Dentures and Partials
Dentures and partials are removable and are used to replace one or more missing teeth. Different types of partials include cast metal, acrylic and wire and flexible
acrylic.
Hanser Dental offers Duraflex ® Flexible Partials, which are flexible, comfortable and durable. They are a great alternative to traditional
dentures when some natural teeth are still healthy enough to support the partials. The replacement procedure is non-invasive. Duraflex ® Flexible
Partials can last up to 10 years with proper care.
Night Guards
Night guards can be worn to prevent the damage that is caused by the grinding and clenching of teeth while sleeping. Damage can include chips, cracks and wear. This is usually a subconscious behavior and is usually due to stress or anxiety.
Night guards also reduce stress on the muscles and TMJ (temporal mandibular joint) area. The FDA also approved the NTI night guard to treat migraine headaches. Wearing a night guard is the most common and effective treatment for grinding and clenching. Dr. Hanser can determine if a night guard is right for you.
Sleep Apnea & Snoring Appliances
TAP® 3 is a device that can be worn to treat snoring and sleep apnea. The TAP (Thornton Adjustable Positioner) holds the lower jaw in a forward position to
prevent the airway from collapsing and causing snoring or sleep apnea. The device is patient-friendly and easy to fit. Dr. Hanser
can help determine if the TAP® 3 is right for you.
